The Scandia Canada Ltd. balcony glazing products are wind screen systems installed on top of a railing. They extend the seasonal use of a balcony by fitting the perimeter of the balcony with sliding glass panels which can all be easily opened or closed. The frameless retractable TI systems are revolutionary in the way they slide along the track and fold to the side for maximum versatility. There are 3mm gaps between each glass panel to allow for ventilation to the balcony, so it is neither a sealed unit nor 100% moisture proof. The Scandia Canada Ltd. balcony glazing systems are not permanent enclosures and as such do not increase GFA. The glass panes can be fully closed, partially opened or fully opened for maximum versatility.
